Scoob! may be available to rent or own on Video on Demand, but if you want to stream it for free, you’ll have to wait a little longer.

Scooby-Doo and the gang arrived on VOD on Friday, May 15. For $20, you can rent and watch the movie within 48 hours, but for $5 more, it’s yours to own digitally. Not a bad deal considering movie ticket prices and the fact that you can own Scoob! for $25 (which is the average price of a Blu-ray).

The movie is expected to become available on Blu-ray and DVD in a few months, but what about streaming? When can fans stream the movie for free? And in which streaming service will the movie be available?

When will Scoob! be available to stream: Unfortunately, we’re not sure when Scoob! will stream, but it does take about eight months to a year from the premiere date of the movie (in this case, it’s May 15) for it to go to a streaming service. That said, we could see Scoob! streaming as early as Jan. 2021 or as late as May 2021.

Where can you stream Scoob! for free: Since Scoob! is part of the Warner Bros. family, our best bet is that the movie will be available to stream on HBO Max. The service launches May 27, 2020, so it will be the perfect addition to it. As long as you have HBO Max, you’ll be able to watch the movie.

Chances are, it won’t be on Netflix or Hulu (unless you have added HBO to your Hulu account), or Amazon Prime Video.
