When will Stargirl connect to the Arrowverse?
By Sandy C.
Everyone is happy to welcome DC’s Stargirl to the CW network, but will Courtney Whitmore join the Arrowverse anytime soon?
DC’s Stargirl has landed on the CW network and fans can’t wait to learn more about the hero. In particular, we’re all curious about her joining the Arrowverse. Will it happen anytime soon, if ever? Here’s what we know!
The new series offers a lighter take on CW’s dark and action-packed dramas such as Batwoman and The Flash. Still, she fits right in, packing great action sequences herself and featuring fun characters we already love and have become emotionally invested in. All this to say, we want Stargirl to join one of Arrowverse’s epic crossovers.
Good news, Arrowverse fans! There are definitely intentions for this to happen, but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for it.

If you have been keeping up with Arrowverse, you remember Stargirl has already appeared briefly in “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” but we want an actual moment!
Well, according to an interview with TV Guide, Stargirl TV and comic creator Geoff Johns, he is “up for any of [the crossovers] whenever it makes sense. If there’s a cool opportunity to do it, that’d be great.”
Here’s why we shouldn’t expect anything soon, though. For starters, we’re still dealing with COVID-19 forcing production on many of these shows to shut down. It’ll take time for new episodes to safely film. I don’t see too many people gathering together to film a crossover any time soon.
There’s also the fact that Stargirl just began. Let’s give it at least one season to develop, I’m sure CW wants to make sure the numbers are there in the ratings.
Are you hoping to see Stargirl appear alongside Barry Allen and the others sooner rather than later? Same! In the meantime, let’s just enjoy the new series!
New episodes of Stargirl premiere Tuesday nights only on the CW.
