According to CBS’ fall schedule, SEAL Team season four will return this fall

CBS’ military drama SEAL Team didn’t end its third season with the cliffhanger the producers had in mind. Because of COVID-19, the series was forced to end production early on the final two episodes, one of which series star David Boreanaz was directing.

Now, episodes 21 and 22 will become episodes one and two of season four, and, according to Boreanaz, the episodes are edge-of-your-seat and fans will be “very surprised.”

More surprised than the Season 3 finale we already saw? By now, most fans have already seen the hook-up between Jason and Mandy, which came out of the blue, especially on the heels of Jason ending things with Natalie.

SEAL Team’s Boreanaz gives a hint about Season 4

But Boreanaz says the first episode of season 4 will end on a cliffhanger that will lead into the second episode. He also went on to say that there will be some focus on the direction his character, Jason Hayes, will take in regards to his career. He went on to talk about a major event that happens between Hayes and Cerberus which could change Hayes’ perspective “for a long time.”

Boreanaz also added that his character would come to understand that Clay has to make the choice between staying on the team or moving on, and that would have been revealed in episodes 21 and 22 so we can now expect to see that when season 4 premieres. More importantly, it sounds like we will learn Clay’s ultimate decision in the first two episodes of the season.

Season 4 already sounds like it’s off to a strong start, and CBS has already added SEAL Team to its fall lineup with a time change to 10 p.m. on Wednesday nights.
