The two-hour premiere of Dirty John Season 2 certainly set the stage. It gave us a look at the crime that Betty committed, and the fact that she’s not sorry any of it happened. The second episode quickly showed us the one-sided relationship, all the support that Betty offered as Dan moved from one career to another.

And now we’re at the point of separation on Dirty John Season 2, Episode 3. However, Betty doesn’t see that. She wants to be grateful for the money that they have now. Talking about the past reminds her to be grateful, but Dan doesn’t want to dwell on that. He wants to focus on the future.
Betty feels threatened on Dirty John
This is the episode that sees Betty feel threatened. When Dan brings a new secretary into his office, she immediately senses a problem. After all, her best friend has been pushed aside for a much younger woman. There’s a chance that this could happen to her, too.
Of course, she’s going to take action. That involves an ultimatum for Dan. It probably won’t work out the way she’d hoped it would, and there’s nowhere for her to turn.
We know how this all ends. One thing Dirty John Season 2 is offering is a look at how this divorce led to Betty carrying out the acts she did. It gives us a reminder that little things all build up and send someone over the top. It wasn’t right, but it’s hard to see that when someone is having a nervous breakdown.
