Pose Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix
Finally, exactly one year after it premiered on FX, Pose Season 2 comes to Netflix with all 10 hilarious, heartbreaking, and heartwarming episodes. If you’ve been waiting to see what happens after Season 1, or if you’ve been waiting to rewatch Season 2, the time has officially come.
Pose debuted on FX in the summer of 2018 and quickly became the latest hit series from Ryan Murphy and his trusted team of hitmakers. The drama series broke, and continues to break, boundaries with its representation of queer and transgender people of color, in front of and behind the camera. In these 10 episodes, Pose Season 2 keeps getting better and bolder.
Pose renewed for Season 3
More from Netflix
- Bridgerton season 3: All the details to know about Penelope and Colin’s love story
- It’s a slow week on Netflix with only three new releases (Nov. 20)
- Exploding Kittens: From card game to Netflix animated series starring Tom Ellis
- The Crown and more Netflix shows and movies to stream this week (November 13)
- Escaping Twin Flames and more harrowing love-centered documentaries to watch on Netflix
Luckily, when you reach the end of your binge-watch on Netflix, you don’t have to worry about the future of your favorite series. FX renewed Pose for Season 3 last summer, which should have premiered this summer just like the two previous seasons. However, Season 3 wound up delayed before production made any decent headway. As with the rest of TV, the wait will be a little longer.
In the second season, the story moved forward into the 1990s, just as Madonna’s hit single “Vogue” brought ballroom culture into the mainstream. Blanca finds hope and optimism in the pop star’s recognition of their culture, but reality soon sets in when she faces off against guest star Patti LuPone. Elsewhere, Angel pursues a mainstream modeling career and the group grieves the loss of one of their own to prejudice and brutality.

Even as the stories got heavier and deeper in Pose Season 2, the series never lost its sense of hopefulness and honor. The season will surely net the series its second Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Drama Series and additional nominations for its excellent cast. Last year, Billy Porter won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, a deserving win and a lead-in for Mj Rodriguez, Indya Moore and Angelica Ross to secure their own nods for Season 2 this year.
