Secrets are out on Council of Dads Season 1, Episode 8. The promo makes it clear that Anthony is Luly’s biological father. It’s a shock reveal for man and one that will have some major consequences moving forward.

Thanks to our friends at NBC, we have an exclusive sneak peek for the new episode of Council of Dads. This is the moment Anthony reveals the truth to Robin. It’s not an easy truth to handle. After all, it means there have been many more secrets in the past, and those secrets will start to come out.

The Council is already struggling with the loss of Scott. It’s been something that consistently threatens to push many of them over the edge, but they’ve been there for each other. One more secret could lead to the Council breaking up just as the men are finding their feet together.

Naturally, Robin is more than shocked to learn the truth. She’s angry; angry at the secret all this time and angry that the truth is now coming out. She’s angry about what it means for her, for Luly, and for everyone. She doesn’t even want Anthony around her.

There is certainly a bigger conversation here. At the same time, there’s a lot of explanation needed. Can the two work things out? Is there a way for everyone to move forward or will Anthony run away?

Clive Standen and Sarah Wayne Callies are excellent together in this scene. You can feel the pain from both of the characters, as truths and secrets are revealed. It’s hard to say how we’d react in this moment, but I feel like Callies’s Robin is reacting in a way I possibly would.

We know from the promo Robin turns to the Council for help on how to deal with this bombshell. It’s not about her but about Luly, who deserves to know the truth. The Council will stand by her and help her reveal the truth to all while Anthony continues on a downward spiral.
