Here are 5 things we learned from MTV’s Teen Wolf reunion

The pack is back with a Teen Wolf reunion that reveals what happened to Stiles’s jeep, where the characters are now and more. Here’s what we learned.

Okay everyone, the moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. The reunion of MTV‘s Teen Wolf has happened! The excitement has been building since MTV first announced the reunion and now it’s available for us all to watch on their YouTube page.

It’s been about 9 years since MTV first aired Teen Wolf and just seeing the cast all together again reminds us how much we missed them. When we last left Scott McCall’s pack they had been reunited with Stiles, saved the day, and were off on more adventures to find other supernatural creatures.

Now we get to catch up with the pack again and it’s clear how much love there still is among them. There are very few casts from television shows who seem to have as much genuine love and chemistry as this one. Aside from the nostalgia of having the cast back together we also learned a few things from the reunion.

5 things we learned from the Teen Wolf reunion

1. What happened to Stiles’s jeep?

Probably one of the most common questions from fans is what happened to Stiles’s jeep? Well, Dylan O’Brien gave us the answer. The jeep is right where it belongs, with Dylan! He got to keep the jeep, fondly known as Roscoe, which is just as it should be. Not only that, but Dylan revealed that he imagines Stiles eventually took over as Sheriff for his father but rides around in the jeep instead of a squad car.

2. Tyler Posey learned the theme song

Fans have always had a soft spot in their hearts for the theme song, and it seems the cast does too. Tyler Posey announced that not only had he recently been rewatching Teen Wolf but he’d also taught himself how to play the theme song. As the reunion closed out he played the theme song for us and it was music to my ears.

3. Dylan and Tyler revealed their hope for Scott and Stiles

The one thing almost every Teen Wolf fan can agree on is that Scott and Stiles were the heart of the show. Well, Dylan and Tyler agree. During the reunion, they mentioned that they would like Scott and Stiles to have become step-brothers and Linden Ashby added that he imagined that Sheriff would be cooking dinner for Melissa and Scott and Stiles would come home and they’d all be a family. We need another season of Teen Wolf if only to see this!

4. Jeff Davis doesn’t seem to currently be planning a reboot

Almost as soon as the show ended there were questions about whether a season 7 or some kind of reboot could still happen. Even the cast chimed in with their hopes for more Teen Wolf. Creator Jeff Davis addressed this during the reunion.

He revealed that while there were entities who were interested in doing more Teen Wolf he wasn’t sure if a potential reboot would come from him or someone else. It doesn’t sound like there’s anything planned currently, which isn’t surprising but is a bummer nonetheless.

5. Where are the characters now?

Once every show ends the fans always wonder what becomes of their favorite characters. The cast was asked what they thought would happen to their respective characters and they had some interesting ideas.

Orny Adams believes Coach is still there being Coach and nothing has changed for him. Holland Roden believes Lydia would currently be solving the Corona Virus and honestly we could use Lydia Martin right now. Dylan O’Brien believes Stiles would eventually take over for his father as Sheriff and ride around in his jeep (I can’t be the only one who got emotional at this).

Dylan, Tyler, and Linden also made mentions of Scott and Stiles becoming step-brothers and becoming a family. Tyler Posey thought Scott could use a little break and maybe a vacation in Hawaii before coming back to find more pack members and be a hero and he’s not wrong.

Poor Scott McCall could use a break. So could Mama McCall as Melissa Ponzio cracked a joke about Melissa still being at the hospital because she seems to be one of the only employees!

Shelley Hennig imagines Malia would be a prison guard and I can kind of see that. Arden Cho wants Kira to come back and do something epic after leaving to train with the Skin Walkers.

Charlie Carver said Ethan would still be holed up with Jackson in London and unfortunately for Max Carver Aiden would still be dead. Ian Bohen’s character Peter Hale would be wandering around the streets of Paris looking for a new pack according to the actor and a spinoff of Peter in Paris might be just the thing we need.

Mason would be going strong in his relationship with Cory and would be immersed in the supernatural world since according to Khylin Rhambo he can’t go back. Dylan Sprayberry talked about lacrosse is very important to Liam so Liam would still be involved with that. He also might run after ex-girlfriend Hayden as that would be just the type of romantic thing Liam might do.

As for Theo, he would probably be looking for another pack according to Cody Christian or perhaps running into Scott occasionally and trying to see if Scott had extra room in his pack. I’d love to see how that might unfold.

We may not get a reboot any time soon, but at least now we know where some of our favorite characters might have ended up! And for those who missed it, or just want to rewatch, you can watch the reunion below.
