These guest stars only appeared in one episode but were memorable

Kicking off the list is one of the funniest ladies on the planet and that’s Vanessa Bayer. Her role was as Colin Robinson’s girlfriend in Season 1. Named Evie Russell, she was also an energy vampire but a lot more powerful than Colin.

Somehow, seeing her smiling face while she sucked the energy out of someone was hilarious. Even though things didn’t work out with her and Colin, Evie was unlike any character we’d met on the show before.

It was interesting to finally see Colin’s life at the center of the episode. He usually ends up off to the side, but adding Evie in was a great idea. While we haven’t seen her since Vanessa Bayer did an incredible job. Maybe we’ll see her pop back up in the later seasons. Either way, she played this role to perfection and they couldn’t have cast someone better.

The number 5 spot has to go to Haley Joel Osment as Topher. Topher appeared in the first episode of Season 2 as Nadja and Lazlo’s familiar. Topher was the epitome of a hipster including owning part of a brewing company. Eventually, Guillermo accidentally kills him and Topher becomes a zombie as Nadja and Lazlo believe he should be brought back to life.

Things go awry especially when Topher keeps trying to eat Guillermo. Nevertheless, it was a fun role to see Haley Joel Osment in. It was especially hilarious to see him acting like a zombie. We haven’t seen much of Haley Joel Osment lately so it was a special treat. He probably won’t be back though but having him the first episode of Season 2 was a great idea.
