The previous episode of Stargirl saw Courtney go up against Cindy. Now it’s time for the JSA to regroup, as well as Pat telling Barbara the truth. Here’s how to watch Stargirl Season 1, Episode 8 live.

We’re going into this episode with some excellent news. Stargirl Season 2 is officially happening, but not in the same way as this season. DC Universe has dropped the show, but The CW is continuing its run, according to Deadline.

In a way, this news isn’t surprising. While we don’t get to know the DC Universe figures, it did seem like a bad idea to run it on a non-premium channel the following day. The show quickly became one of the best on The CW, even including the fall shows! DC fans were ready for this new generation of superheroes.

What to expect on Stargirl Season 1, Episode 8

Putting the focus back on the new episode, we’ll see Courtney relegated to her bed. She needs to recover after the fight against Cindy. Of course, her mom, Barbara, has a lot of questions. Pat realizes that he can’t keep something like this from Barbara any longer.

It was a huge secret to keep. Barbara isn’t going to be happy that Pat allowed her daughter to be put in harm’s way. Sure, Pat couldn’t physically stop Courtney from going out, but he should have told Barbara from the beginning. I’ll be glad to see this secret out because I hate that parents end up no knowing what their children are doing in these sorts of shows.

Meanwhile, Cindy now knows who Stargirl is. And she’s going to want to take Stargirl down. That leads to another fight, but will Courtney have the JSA by her side this time? And what exactly goes awry in Cindy’s plan that leads to her apologizing to her father?
