Every episode of Dynasty featuring a Fallon musical moment

One of the best added bonuses of The CW’s Dynasty, apart from the glamorous fashion and delicious plot twists, is without a doubt Fallon’s surprise musical treats. Every so often, Elizabeth Gillies gives the gift of her rich, soulful voice as Fallon sings oldies but goodies. Whether it’s a full-fledged musical episode with the whole cast singing a tune or a solo performance by our favorite Carrington, there’s nothing we love more than getting to hear Gillies sing.

If you can’t get enough of Liz sharing Joni Mitchell covers on Instagram or if you’re missing Dynasty during its hiatus, we’ve pulled together a list of every episode featuring Fallon Carrington singing. Of course, more musical moments are sure to come when Dynasty Season 4 premieres on The CW next year, but until Fallon returns for her wedding day and a maybe an original song, it’s time to shine a light on Fallon’s best singing moments so far.

Here are the eight episodes of Dynasty where Elizabeth Gillies sings as Fallon and the accompanying song(s) she performs.

Season 1, Episode 16: “Poor Little Rich Girl”

More from CW

Although Fallon briefly sings a Christmas ditty for the family in Season 1, Episode 9, “Rotten Things,” her finest musical moment in the first season comes a few episodes later when she sings “The Rose” by Bette Midler for her grandfather’s impending funeral. Again, it’s a brief performance, but an indicator that Fallon shares Gillies’s singing talent and would continue to use her voice for more than biting one-liners in the future.

Season 2, Episode 1: “Twenty-Three Skidoo”

In the Season 2 opener, Blake hosts a grand party at the manor celebrating the anniversary of Carrington Atlantic. Like all Carrington parties, it’s over the top and themed—the perfect occasion for something to go dramatically wrong. However, Fallon’s scene-setting performance of “Bizarre Love Triangle,” complete with brassy horns and a swing sensibility, remains a fan-favorite. Gillies sounds totally in her element on the throwback track.

Season 2, Episode 4: “Snowflakes in Hell”

Once again, Fallon and Steven gather around the piano for a bittersweet rendition of “I Get Along Without You Very Well (Except Sometimes).” The episode followed the Carringtons traveling to Paraguay to track down Steven, who later decides to return to the country on his own. Fallon and Steven sing together as something of a farewell to Steven, though he would make a comeback later in Season 2 for his official departure from Dynasty

Season 2, Episode 11: “The Sight of You”

Fallon tries her hand at karaoke in Season 2, Episode 11 while the girls and Sam take an ill-fated trip to a ski resort. Obviously, Fallon had ulterior motives for the trip. She didn’t want to bond with her friends and stepmother. Instead, she works to get Liam back at any cost necessary. As with most of Fallon’s plans, things don’t go as planned, and she winds up singing “These Boots Are Made For Walkin'” at a dive bar with Kirby, Cristal, Monica, and Sam.

Season 3, Episode 4: “Something Desperate”

Despite the various musical moments throughout the first and second seasons, Dynasty hadn’t fully leaned into a musical episode. That is until Season 3, Episode 4. Due to a gas leak in her bedroom, Fallon hallucinates a handful of musical numbers, including “Burning Down the House” and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” But her own gas-induced tunes, “You Can’t Hurry Love” and “Against All Odds,” are two of Liz’s best vocal moments as Fallon.

Season 3, Episode 10: “What Sorrows Are You Drowning?”

When Fallon and Adam infiltrate the cult that Kirby has been sucked into, they try everything to force her to come back to the manor. Ultimately, the tactic that interrupts Kirby’s official initiation into the cult is the gift of song. Fallon and Adam break out in a catchy cover of “Happy Together,” which Kirby, unfortunately, cuts off just as they reach the peak of their performance. Who would have thought Fallon would have singing in common with both of her brothers?

Season 3, Episode 13: “You See Most Things in Terms of Black & White”

From a musical episode to a black and white episode, Dynasty successfully tried new methods of storytelling in Season 3. In the black and white episode, Fallon joins Liam on a “business trip” to London, during which he gives her a glimpse into his “book pitch.” Each cast member plays a role in the fictional (but parallel) black-and-white noir world of Liam’s story, with Fallon starring as a lounge performer singing “Why Try to Change Me Now” and “The Man That Got Away.”

Season 3, Episode 18: “You Make Being a Priest Sound Like Something Bad”

In the third season, Fallon’s ambition and confidence often slapped her with reality checks that never bounced. Two episodes ahead of the premature season finale, Fallon attempted to use her power to land Liam’s favorite band for their wedding. Not only did she court the wrong band, but she embarrasses herself in pursuit of them. Fallon steps in to perform “Leather and Lace” with one half of the duo during a charity gala at the manor, and it’s totally enchanting.
