Watch the Tell Me a Story series premiere live on The CW

You’ll get a chance to watch the Tell Me a Story series premiere tonight

There were certainly many fans of Tell Me a Story when it first premiered in 2018, but there was just one problem. It aired on CBS All Access, and not everyone wanted to sign up to yet another subscription service.

The CW has acquired the airing rights for the show, which means the Tell Me a Story series premiere airs tonight. Both seasons will run back to back, which gives you a chance to see what all the hype was about. It’s also going to be on The CW app.

If you just happened to miss out or never heard about it, Tell Me a Story is a dark take on the fairy tale stories. It’s created by one of those behind The Vampire Diaries and includes a number of actors from it and The Originals, including Paul Wesley.

In the first season, the adapted fairy tales are “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Hansel and Gretel,” and “The Three Little Pigs.” They’re not as you remember them.

What to expect on Tell Me a Story Season 1, Episode 1

The premiere opens with Kayla and her dad trying to make a fresh start at her grandmother’s home. Kayla is a troubled teen, and she’s not afraid of a dangerous wolf who may be lurking around.

Meanwhile, Hanna and Gabe are two estranged siblings. When they’re reunited under extreme circumstances, they need to decide if they can trust each other.

Finally, there’s Jordan, who just can’t see eye-to-eye with his girlfriend Beth. What happens when there is no future when Beth is killed? Jordan decides to enact revenge, becoming the Big Bad Wolf after the three little piggies.
