Excited for Tenet? Watch these 5 Christopher Nolan movies

Here are five Christopher Nolan movies to watch if you’re excited for Tenet
One of the most anticipated movies of 2020 is Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. The time-bending espionage thriller starring John David Washington was set to hit theaters on July 17, 2020. With most U.S. movie theaters closed due to the global pandemic, Warner Bros. pushed Tenet back to the middle of August before delaying it indefinitely.
It’s funny that the confusion around Tenet does not revolve around inversion and time travel, but its release date. When will Tenet be released? There is hope on the horizon as Tenet finally received a release date. Nolan’s blockbuster will open in more than 70 countries beginning Aug. 26 and then in select U.S. cities starting Sept. 3.

- The story of a French emperor: Here’s where Napoleon will stream after theaters
- The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes honors its origins and far surpasses them
- Thanksgiving movie death toll: Why [SPOILER] is still alive
- No, Thanksgiving is not streaming yet (But here’s where it’ll land)
- Trolls Band Together soundtrack guide: Which songs play in the movie?
This release plan may be less than ideal, but at least it provides consumers with hope that returning to the theater will arrive sooner than later. No matter when it’s released, Tenet will be a major story in pop culture for the rest of the year. If you’re excited for Tenet, then here are five more Nolan movies to watch.
Memento
Time has been a consistent theme throughout Nolan’s career and Memento was his major breakthrough into Hollywood. Memento tells the story of a man suffering short term memory loss who attempts to find his wife’s murderer. Thanks to a memorable twist ending, the “Nolan Hive” was born. Watch Memento on Pluto TV or rent it from your platform of choice.
The Dark Knight
It’s hard to find more ways to describe the importance of The Dark Knight. It changed the superhero genre forever and proved that comic book adaptations could have real-life themes and consequences.
The Dark Knight is not just a bunch of guys in capes fighting bad guys. It’s a dark, neo-noir crime thriller that includes arguably the greatest performance of the 21st century, Heath Ledger’s Joker. Watch The Dark Knight on Hulu.
Inception
If we’re grading films in terms of a mental headache of 1 to 10, Memento is a 5 while Inception is at an 8.5. Inception is a thriller about stealing information and planting ideas in one’s subconscious. I only have one question: is the top still spinning? Rent Inception on your platform of choice.
Interstellar
First, time revolved around memories. Then, time dealt with dreams. In Interstellar, time was on full display via wormholes. Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway are NASA astronauts tasked with exploring a wormhole near Saturn to find a new home for humanity. Make sure to fire up Interstellar on the biggest television you can find. The visuals are breathtaking. Watch Interstellar on FX or rent it from a platform of your choice.
Dunkirk
Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Don’t blink because you may miss the action in Dunkirk, a WWII thriller about the English evacuation attempt at Dunkirk. Although there is little dialogue, the suspense is off the charts thanks to the constant aerial attacks from the German army.
The nonlinear narrative is another signature Nolan twist that adds a fresh perspective to the war genre. Rent Dunkirk from a platform of your choice.
