What’s new to watch on Disney Plus in the month of August? We’ve got you covered with a quick look at the best Disney Plus movies and shows to watch!

Have you been enjoying Disney Plus? The streaming service showed a lot of promise at first, but now we can’t confidently say it’s one of our favorites. Don’t get me wrong, I really wanted to love it! But there just hasn’t been enough content to keep me entertained. I do love having access to Disney classics, but I was expecting new movies and shows.

Watching The Mandalorian was fun, and so were early additions, but it has since died down. We continue to wait for Marvel shows and The Mandalorian season 2. Until then, what does Disney Plus have to over? Let’s have a look!

You can check out a complete list of all the Disney Plus movies and shows headed in August, HERE. Otherwise, read on for our favorite content. Spoiler alert: There isn’t much.

Here are the Disney Plus movies and shows coming in August 2020

  • X-Men, Aug. 7
  • The Peanuts Movie, Aug. 7
  • Ant-Man and the Wasp, Aug. 14
  • The One and Only Ivan, Aug. 14
  • Beauty and the Beast, Aug. 21

Disappointed? Join the club! Though a few seem interesting, such as The One and Only Ian, and we love now being able to rewatch Beauty and the Beast, there’s not enough for the streaming service to compete with others, such as Netflix.
