The Coroner series premiere is one of the TV shows to watch this week

We’re into the first week of August, which means there are some great TV shows to check out. We still have the first of the month drops on the various streaming services and there are other great releases throughout the week, but what about those you’re probably about to sleep on?

There’s something for everyone this week. Whether you want a reality show, need something for the kids, or you’re looking for a new drama, there really is something. While some are on streaming services, there are plenty of options on broadcast and cable, so you’ll have easy access to them.

These are the five TV shows you need to check out from Aug. 3 to 7.

Counting On

We’re turning our attention to a reality TV show for this next offering. Counting On continues on Tuesday night. After an episode focused on the family members still in Arkansas, we’re heading back to California for part of this week’s episode.

During the promo for the episode, Jeremy Vuolo mentioned that he has a dark past. He also mentioned that he’d been arrested in the past, which will be a surprise to some. We know why he was arrested, but this episode is going to be a chance to see what he’s learned from that. What does Jinger think of his past and what is he using from it to help his daughter grow up to be a kind and caring young woman?

There is also a look back at previous episodes in the hour afterward. Tune in from 9/8c on Tuesday on TLC.
