If you love crime dramas, the CW network is adding a great series to its lineup, Coroner, a Canadian series acquisition. What is the series about and how can you catch the series premiere live? We’ve got all the details, from the synopsis to tune-in information, below!
The compelling drama sees Dr. Jenny Cooper (portrayed by Serinda Swan), a recent widow and newly appointed coroner looking into suspicious deaths in Toronto. Jenny has more than these investigations to deal with, though, as she is also dealing with helping her teenage son deal with the loss of his father.
The first episode is not one to miss as it introduces all of the players and sets the story. And with the series already having aired in Canada, you’ll want to watch this live so you’re no longer missing out!
Coroner season 1, episode 1 synopsis
Season 1, episode 1 of the series is titled “Black Dog,” and we will see Jenny taking on her first case, and the synopsis teases that it affects Jenny “personally.” The death of her husband doesn’t make things easy. Not to mention, she also has her teenage son to raise alone and help him deal with the loss of his father, as well. Needless to say, Jenny has a lot on her plate!
