Counting On: Jessa Duggar Seewald addresses pregnancy rumors

The Counting On star responded to fans wondering if she’s pregnant again

When it comes to being a married Duggar woman, there are always eyes on signs of pregnancy. Jessa Duggar Seewald will be no stranger to that, but sometimes it will get tiresome for the Counting On star.

The latest pregnancy rumors started when a fan thought there was a “bump” on an Instagram photo. Personally, I can’t see it, but others did, and they decided to ask Jessa if she was expecting baby No. 4.

It turns out that is not the case. The bump was just from tacos and not a baby.

This doesn’t rule out a fourth baby, of course. Jessa and Ben will have likely talked about more children, but Jessa commented in the most recent episode of Counting On that she doesn’t know how many children she would like.

19 kids and counting?

Jessa does come from a large family. She has 18 brothers and sisters. It would have been 21, but Michelle Duggar had two miscarriages over the years of her pregnancies, with that last one hitting everyone hard. After her first birth, Jessa said that she didn’t know how her mother had done labor 19 times.

After the episode, which focused on Kendra giving birth to her second child, was a pregnancy and birth special, looking back on all the births over the years so far. We started with Michelle’s 15th child, the first of the Duggar family born on TV. Then it worked through the daughters and daughters-in-law.

During this special, we were reminded of the blood loss Jessa faced during her first pregnancy. That would have been enough to put many off having more children, but not Jessa. She’s had two since, with less traumatic births than her first.

However, a fourth child isn’t happening for now. I’m sure she and Ben will have some awesome pregnancy announcement if or when it happens.

For now, we have two Duggar sisters we’re focused on. Jinger Duggar Vuolo and Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth are currently expecting. We’ll also get to see the births of other babies on Counting On Season 11.
