The dark comedy Hitmen is now streaming, watch it only on Peacock
Peacock is the latest streaming service to deliver some much-needed entertainment. And one of its first additions is Hitmen, a dark comedy that couldn’t have arrived at a better time.
What is Hitmen all about, who does it star, is it truly a “brand new” series, and how can you watch? If you came here with all these questions (or just the tune-in details), we’ve got all you need to know, below.
Hitmen stars Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, a duo you may already recognize from a completely different show. Yes, it may take you a minute to become familiar with the faces, but they are the same ladies who host The Great British Bake Off. Be warned, Hitmen is nothing like the other. You are in for a dark comedy and so many laughs.
What is Hitmen about?
The Peacock series follows best friends and co-workers Jamie (Giedroyc) and Fran (Perkins), professional hitmen. I know what you’re thinking. They don’t seem to be pros in the business, do they? And you’d be right, but that’s all part of the charm.
Jamie and Fran try to make the most out of life even though they have a rather violent and depressing profession. As the teaser (which you can check out below) shares, “being an assassin is bloody hard work.”
Where can you watch?
The only place you’ll be able to tune in for the fun is over at Peacock. If you don’t have a subscription, consider this your lucky day! Why don’t sign up for a free account? With Peacock being a new service, you can take it on a test drive before making up your mind about it. Check it out HERE.
Will you be watching Hitmen on Peacock? What is your favorite series on the new streaming service so far?
