Janelle and Kaysar might be in trouble this week on Big Brother All-Stars

At long last, Memphis’s HOH week has come to an end on Big Brother All-Stars. While we survived the weakest (and possibly most boring) week of gameplay in history, one all-star wasn’t so lucky and was sent packing. But with a new HOH in power, the tides are quickly shifting.

…or are they? Lines are being drawn in the sand, but the power hasn’t shifted from one side to the other. In fact, the house hasn’t been totally split, making for another week of gunning for the same targets: Janelle and Kaysar.

This week, the numbers don’t appear to be on their side. But all hope isn’t lost in our generous but objective power ranking of the all-stars presently in the best position.

Warning: This post contains spoilers from the latest episode of Big Brother All-Stars, but not from the live feeds. Floaters, grab a life vest!

1. Tyler

Obviously, since Tyler won the Head of Household competition, he holds the greatest amount of power in the house. While that’s technically true this week, his future power relies on successfully walking the tightrope of his HOH reign.

Tyler used the same strategy as his first time playing, which entails making alliances and deals with nearly everybody. The deals he makes this week will make the following weeks tricky since his true loyalties will eventually show. For his sake, he’d better hope his week in power goes exactly according to plan.

2. Enzo

Even though Enzo might not rank among the ringleaders calling the shots and leading the conversations, he’s on no one’s radar and that’s powerfully dangerous. No one has thrown his name out as a threat, no one is actively coming for him.

While he could be thrown around as a potential pawn, we shouldn’t count out the self-proclaimed Meow Meow just yet. If he’s able to keep up a solid social game and win competitions when he needs to, he could easily float his way to the end again. Keep in mind, Enzo still has his Safety Suite pass.

3. Janelle

Despite she and Kaysar being the constant targets, Janelle holds the greatest power in the house. And what is that power? The power of merely existing and getting people scared. Even if Tyler nominates Janelle and Kaysar together, we shouldn’t count either of them out. Janelle has plenty of moves up her sleeve, including but limited to the veto, to ensure her safety.

It’s impossible that she would run a dirty campaign against Kaysar, but she’ll totally do what she needs to do to make it another week. In the event of being nominated, their best-case scenario is Janelle winning the veto and sweet-talking Tyler into backdooring Memphis.

4. Da’Vonne

Here’s where things get murky. Believe it or not, Nicole F has managed to position herself well in the house, as has Ian. Meanwhile, Christmas, Bayleigh, and Kevin could also surprise us as dark horses, but it’s tough to see (right now) the latter three maintaining a stable gameplay. On the other hand, Da’Vonne has learned from her past mistakes.

She’s getting information from all angles of the house without fully showing her hand. While a dangerous strategy and one that could put a target on her back, Day has the potential to go all the way if she sharpens her loyalties.

5. Dani

Judging by the frequent discourse on Big Brother stan Twitter, this will be an unpopular opinion, but Dani’s currently in a great spot. Even though some people have sniffed out her penchant for scheming, she’s not actively anyone’s target. That’s similar but also dissimilar to Enzo’s position. Dani’s playing differently than she ever has.

In BB8 and BB13, she constantly played defense. This time, she’s able to play offense and stay under the radar. If she can stay tight with her alliance, zip it every once in a while, and pivot to winning (Safety Suite?) without getting restless, she could prove everyone wrong.
