Here’s a list of recently canceled shows by Netflix and other networks

Another week, another slew of our favorite TV shows gone! Most come as a shock as quite a few were already renewed but unforeseen circumstances caused the decision to be reversed.  We’re hoping it can be reversed again so some of these can come back!

Every year, networks make a huge decision on what to keep and what to cut. Many of these canceled shows brought high ratings, though, so why were some of these canceled?  While low ratings have always played a part in a show’s cancellation another major factor has been COVID-19.  E! News and Pop of the Morning were both cut due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for example.

It’s no secret the pandemic has affected everything and everyone, including Hollywood. Our 2020 summer movie playlists were a go, but movie premieres have been pushed back, events have been canceled (or gone virtual), and television series have ended.

Things are looking up, S.W.A.T., Supernatural, When Calls the Heart, and more have resumed production. Even AMC has begun opening theaters.

This week, streaming giant Netflix is leading the pack with three canceled shows. If you thought it was bad before, just wait until you see this week’s list.
