Everything coming to HBO and HBO Max in September 2020

Broadcast network usually bring back their fall shows in the last week of September. That’s not happening this year for the most part. That means we’re turning to streaming services for entertainment. Fortunately, HBO and HBO Max have our backs.

There is a lot of excellent content throughout the month. Avoid the overwhelming feeling when you look at the list with these five top picks. We’ve also included the full list of new arrivals on HBO and HBO Max in September for those who need it.

This list will complement the 10 movies you’ll need to watch before they leave the streaming services during the month.

Doctor Who Season 12

We’ll start with the longest-running fantasy series in the world. Doctor Who remains a popular franchise, and Season 12 was a relatively strong season with the return of a formidable villain and a loveable companion. This is the first time the season hasn’t gone to Amazon Prime Video for free. HBO Max is where it’s at.

Raised By Wolves

Next up is a new series on HBO Max. Raised By Wolves premieres on Sept. 3, and it is sure to be a must-watch. It’s Ridley Scott’s venture into TV, and the trailer looks impressive. Earth has been destroyed and now two androids need to raise the next generation of the human race on a new planet. What happens when they try to control humans and who is the real wolf in the story?
