There has been a lot of change to the fall programming in 2020. The Bachelorette is getting its first fall season, and here’s all we know about The Bachelorette Season 16 release date, cast, and more.
This is going to be an exciting season with potentially two female leads. It’s all thanks to Clare Crawley finding love partway through the season. However, it’s worth pointing out that ABC has not confirmed rumors just yet.
Let’s get into the details about The Bachelorette Season 16.
The Bachelorette Season 16 release date
ABC has confirmed that the 16th installment in The Bachelor spin-off will premiere on Oct. 13, 2020. It will air at 8/7c.

This is a later fall premiere date to the dates we’re used to. ABC is pushing everything back to October with a run of reality programming until regular scripted shows can return hopefully late October or in November.
It’s also a big delay compared to when the show was meant to premiere. The Bachelorette Season 16 was originally planned for May 2020, but the coronavirus meant filming couldn’t happen. Filming has taken place under strict safety guidelines, meaning a set premiere date is now possible.
The Bachelorette Season 16 cast
Clare Crawley is the lead of this season.
Rumor has it that Crawley found love partway through the season. So not to lead the rest of the men on, she decided to step away from the show with the guy she found. Tayshia Adams is slated to take over from her partway through the season.
None of this has been confirmed just yet.
