So many great shows on Amazon Prime Video, but these four are a must watch

When it comes to which streaming service people watch most, YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu are the top dogs.  With more competition being introduced, it’s getting harder and harder to pick which service to use to satisfy our binging appetite.  One we need to talk more about is Amazon Prime.  Being a Prime subscriber gets you free two-day shipping, it also comes with Prime Video.

Original series Flea Bag, Transparent, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are big winners at the Emmys, and there’s more great content buried on the streamer.  Whether you’re into sci-fi, comedy, or action there’s something everyone can enjoy.

It wasn’t an easy task, but we’ve narrowed it down to four shows you must binge!

Hanna

Based on the 2011 film of the same name, Hanna follows the series name’s sake (Esmé Creed-Miles) who’s been raised in isolation and is an original member of the group of super-soldiers UTRAX.  Her father, Erik Heller (Joel Kinnaman), worked for UTRAX but fled after falling in love with her mother Johanna.  Hanna spent her whole life training to fight, and now it’s time to put her skills to the test when she’s kidnapped by CIA agent Marissa Wiegler (Mireille Enos). Marissa’s been ordered to kill all the children involved in UTRAX.

In Season 2, Marissa shockingly becomes an ally and helps Hanna defeat UTRAX only to find new threat Pioneer Group wants to take over the CIA.  Is Marissa really trustworthy? Yes, but to a fault, while she becomes a mother figure to Hanna and Clara, she shows no remorse for the other children involved.

There’s a lot that needs to be answered, thankfully Season 3 is on its way.  One of Amazon’s most-watched shows in July 2020, it’s no surprise a Season 3 renewal was announced shortly after.  With the rapid spread of COVID-19, we may not get to see what happens until late 2021.  No word on when production will start.
