Everything coming to and leaving Netflix in September 2020
By Callum Gunn
Enola Holmes, Away, Ratched, and more are on Netflix in September 2020
We’re getting into a new month, which means we’ve got our list of new arrivals on various streaming services. Netflix is always the one we look forward to, wanting to see what’s coming next. September 2020 is no disappointment.
There are a few notable arrivals on Netflix in September, Ratched being one of them. This is the show that American Horror Story fan is looking forward to. Ryan Murphy has created it with Sarah Paulson in the lead role of the fictional nurse. Set in 1947, Nurse Ratched gets a job at a psychiatric hospital that likes to do some highly questionable experiments.
More from Netflix
- Bridgerton season 3: All the details to know about Penelope and Colin’s love story
- It’s a slow week on Netflix with only three new releases (Nov. 20)
- Exploding Kittens: From card game to Netflix animated series starring Tom Ellis
- The Crown and more Netflix shows and movies to stream this week (November 13)
- Escaping Twin Flames and more harrowing love-centered documentaries to watch on Netflix
For the Sherlock Holmes fans out there, there’s a new film heading to Netflix in September. Look out for Enola Holmes about Sherlock and Mycroft’s sister. Millie Bobby Brown plays the titular role with Henry Cavil, Sam Claflin, and Helena Bonham Carter also starring.
We can’t overlook the return of the Back to the Future movies, too. These are perfect family movies. Just don’t try to work out the time travel rules too much.
What’s leaving Netflix in September?
It’s not all about the new arrivals, right? We need to look at the shows and movies that are leaving the streamer. This is your last call for Once Upon a Time. All seven seasons are leaving the streamer, with the potential of heading to Disney Plus in the future.
We also have the exit of Christopher Robin at the start of the month for those who haven’t got around to watching it yet.
For the horror fans out there, this is your last chance to watch Sinister on Netflix for now, leaving just before the scariest month of the year. Inside Man and The Witch are also notable exits.
Families will always want to be aware that the three Jurassic Park movies and Despicable Me are leaving Netflix at the end of the month.
