Where do Tic and Leti go from here? Tune in to an all-new episode of HBO’s Lovecraft Country.
When one door closes, another one opens. Atticus and Leti may have escaped the horrors of Ardham, but their problems are far from over. The duo will now take the battle back to Chicago in the newest episode of Lovecraft Country, which premieres tonight on HBO.
In the second episode, Tic, Leti, and Uncle George are greeted by the Braithwhites with open arms. From the very beginning, Tic is suspicious of the Braithwhites, especially Christina and Samuel. Magical powers run through the entire house as Leti and George constantly lose their memories. Plus, Tic, Leti, and George suffer from hallucinations. Tic fights a female Korean solider, George dances with Dora (Tic’s mother), and Leti makes love to Tic, who becomes a snake.

Eventually, Tic finds his father, Montrose, and discovers he’s an ancestor of the Braithwhites. We also learn that George may not be Tic’s uncle, but his biological father. After Samuel shoots both Leti and George, Tic agrees to help “The Sons of Adam” open the door to The Garden of Eden in order to gain immortality. However, the ceremony goes haywire when Tic overpowers the portal, turning Samuel into stone and destroying the building. Although Tic, Leti, and Montrose escape the building before it collapses, George succumbs to his wounds and dies outside.
Lovecraft Country Season 1, Episode 3 details
In the promo for the third episode, Tic and Leti make it back to Chicago, but their real challenges have only just begun. Leti buys a house on the north side of Chicago, but she faces racist neighbors and a “ghost” inside the house. Did Leti buy a haunted house?
