CBS’s SEAL Team is ready to resume production, here are five things we want to see in season 4

Fans have been waiting for information on when the CBS military drama, SEAL Team, will return to production on season 4, and this week, some good news was delivered.

Production will resume in a matter of weeks which gives us a little more time to ponder what’s going to happen in season 4 as well as what we’d like to see happen. What’s on your wishlist? We’ve put together a quick list of what we want from the upcoming season.

We want Cerberus to stay with the team

As previously reported, season 4’s premiere could change our favorite dog’s future, and we’re not looking forward to the possibility we might lose him. While we know all dogs have to retire at some point, we’re sure Cerberus has a lot more work to do before he leaves Team Bravo.

We want Jason to have a stable relationship

At the end of the season 3 finale, Jason and Mandy crossed the line from friendship to intimacy, and viewers have been wondering if the writers intend to move the couple toward something permanent. And even though Mandy understands the type of work Jason does, are they right together, being as they both have a certain amount of baggage that is bound to get in the way? Ideally, what we’d like to see is Jason with someone who, like Jerry McGuire said, completes him. We’re not so sure that is Mandy.

We want things to remain as they are with the team

If Ray becomes warrant officer, that will change the dynamic he has with his brothers. And if Clay leaves, that will create waves as well. The show is about Team Bravo, and as much as we know change is guaranteed in every show, we’ve only had this team for three seasons. We’d like to see them work together a lot longer before the apple cart gets turned upside down.

We want Sonny to be happy

Sonny fakes happiness with liquor and women, but we all know he’s not really happy inside. He had found some with Davis, but that went by the wayside in season 3. Then he thought he wanted to leave the team and return to Texas to be with this dad. Good thing his father talked him out of that. Being away from Team Bravo definitely wouldn’t have made him happy in the long run. What we’d like to see is for Sonny to have something to look forward to when the team returns from deployment.

We’d like a season without serious injury to the team

We know TEAM Bravo has a dangerous job, but Jason, Clay, and Ray have all suffered through serious injuries that made their return to the team questionable. We’d prefer not to have to go through that again as things are shaky enough. Could we just have one season where no one is blown up, shot, or maimed? We’re not asking for wins all the time, but maybe it’s time to bring in some other compelling plots that don’t involve the potential loss of our team.

We trust that the writers will do a good job as they do every season, but we’re attached to these characters, and we’d like to see them have a little bit of happiness and a lot of security.
