The Invisible Man, starring Elisabeth Moss, was a surprise hit! On paper, it’s an interesting idea, but the trailer did give me many doubts.

Still, because I love Elisabeth Moss and I was very curious, I watched the movie as soon as it premiered. Because of COVID-19, the movie received a small release in theaters and became available on Video On Demand.

Lucky for me, it was (very) worth watching! At Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a 91% fresh score. Sure, we may not always agree with critics, but they got it right in this case.

If you missed the movie on its first round, The Invisible Man follows Cecilia (Moss), a woman desperate to leave her abusive boyfriend, but it’s easier said than done. Even after leaving her boyfriend’s home with the help of her friends, the nightmare is far from over.
