Everything we know about The Masked Singer Season 4 so far

The Masked Singer is back. While things will feel a little different than normal with no live audience, it’s still going to be a lot of fun.

There isn’t long to wait for The Masked Singer Season 4’s premiere. We’ll get a look at the new costumes and hear the voices. Don’t forget, there’s a special costume that sees the first duet on the show.

What do we know about the fourth season so far? Here’s a look.

The Masked Singer Season 4 release date

Let’s start with when the show will premiere. There really isn’t long to wait. The Masked Singer Season 4 will premiere on Sept. 23.

The title of the episode is “The Masks Return.” It doesn’t specifically state the number of masks, but with the second episode titled “Six More Masks,” it suggests there will be six contestants in the premiere episode.

That makes sense. Usually, we do three groups and there are six masks in each group to begin with. However, it looks like no separating groupings this year to ensure filming in a bubble could happen.

The Masked Singer Season 4 cast

We have no idea who is under the masks yet. However, we do know that all four main judges are returning. That means the same humor and banter from Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Ken Jeong.

Nick Cannon is also returning as host of the show.

Will there be any guest panelists this season? Probably not due to the coronavirus filming restrictions.

There is a short video out to highly some of the costumes for the first round. We get to hear the voices of Sun, Whatchamacallit, and Serpent.

They certainly have us stumped for now. We can’t wait for the clue packages to start to figure things out.

Serpent has given us a clue already. Their career got a “magical start” and there was a bottle with the number 31118 on it. What could those clues mean?

Sun knows how to “shine like a torch even in the freezing winter,” which certainly suggests a Winter Olympian on the show.

The Masked Singer Season 4 synopsis

The show doesn’t need any introduction. It’s going to follow mostly the same format as previous seasons.

This year, there won’t be the live audience. Instead, viewers will get to vote for their favorites along with the judges.
