Big Brother 22 All-Stars: Nicole isn’t fooling Christmas
Last week, Da’Vonne was evicted by a vote of 5-2 with Dani and Nicole casting the only votes against Kevin, leading to some speculation among the remaining HouseGuests; however, neither Dani nor Nicole would confess when asked.
Unfortunately, Christmas had begun to grow suspicious of both women following Dani’s attempt to save Da’Vonne last week, and, as a result, was convinced that they had cast votes against Kevin to secure jury votes.
Meanwhile, trust between Dani and Nicole appeared to be waning as both women would proceed to lie to each other regarding their votes. In the DR, Nicole would reaffirm those trust issues while Dani would tell us that despite Nicole being her closest ally, she would lie to her if it got her closer to the end.
Nicole’s distrust of Dani would continue to grow after Dani told her she wasn’t planning on activating the Replay Power, which would allow the outgoing HOH to compete in this week’s HOH competition, which would give The Committee a leg up. Although Nicole told Dani that she feared a Kevin HOH would find her on the block next to Cody, Dani seemed unphased.
Feeling that Dani had allowed her to take the fall for the Ian vote, Nicole felt that Dani was once again putting her in a difficult spot and would voice her concerns to Cody, who agreed.
Luckily, Dani would have a change of heart and go to tell Memphis that she was using the power on him. Although he would accept the offer, he would say in the DR that he had no intention of winning the competition, wishing instead to fade into the background.
Holey Moley comes to CBS
For this week’s HOH competition, the HouseGuests were given the opportunity to win the HOH competition and $10,000.
One at a time, the HouseGuests would head outside to the backyard, which had been turned into a mini-golf course divided into two greens with numbered slots on each green representing the power of the HOH or the cash prize. The HouseGuests would have the opportunity to putt three balls and attain the lowest score to win the HOH and cash prize. If two HouseGuests tied for the lowest score on the green representing the cash prize, they would have to split the pot.
As the two true outsiders remaining in the game, this HOH competition would be an imperative win for David and Kevin.
Unfortunately, both would be quickly eliminated from the competition, leaving Cody to win his second HOH of the season. Meanwhile, Dani and Tyler would anonymously walk away with $5,000 each.
As for David and Kevin, the only thing they’d walk away with was the possibility that one of them would get an all-expenses-paid trip to the Jury House.
No surprises
Although Cody had begun to grow wary of Christmas, especially after learning from Enzo that she’s in a side-alliance with him and Memphis, he would only consider her as a backdoor option if either David or Kevin, who he planned on nominating, won the POV.
Speaking of Kevin, he would reluctantly head upstairs, later on, to meet with Cody and try to convince him not to nominate him.
The meeting would quickly turn combative, however, as Kevin, realizing that he was going on the block, would threaten his jury vote. Of course, this would only serve to anger Cody, who would make it clear in the DR that Kevin was his target. Unfortunately for David, that would mean he’d find himself going up as a pawn at the Nomination Ceremony.
As the episode closed, however, both David and Kevin would remain in good spirits, telling us in the DR that they knew they had no other option but to fight to stay alive in the game. Meanwhile, Cody would reaffirm that he wasn’t afraid to take a shot at his alliance if one of his nominees took themself off the block.
So who will win the Power of Veto?
