How did everything fare? The 100 saw the biggest uptick of the night. That’s not all too surprising considering it was the series finale. Yes, the series finale. The show brought an end to seven years of mythology in a way that has mixed reviews.
In terms of the ratings, it ticked up 100% in the demo and 20% in the total audience. However, while the show was up from its penultimate episode, it wasn’t at an all-time high. It wasn’t even at a season-high. However, this is a show that’s heading to Netflix next week, so people will likely want to binge-watch then.
The Masked Singer ticked up in the ratings (6% in the demo and 9% in the total audience) as a new set of masks took to the stage. It pulled in the highest audience of the night, too. The NBC finals pulled in the highest demo, but The Masked Singer wasn’t too far behind.
It is worth noting that the season debuted down from Season 3. There are potentially a few reasons for that, including the fact that this fall hasn’t felt like TV shows are returning at all.
The same couldn’t be said for I Can See Your Voice. The series lost 8% of its demo and 4% of its total audience. Considering this was the second episode of the series, that’s not a bad drop. There is usually a drop between the premiere and second episodes, simply because some people decide a show isn’t for them after all. This is relatively steady and suggests it will get a second season.
CBS didn’t have a great night. While Big Brother remained steady in the audience, it was down 16% in the demo. Love Island also dropped 16% in the demo and 18% in the total audience.
There is probably nothing to worry about when it comes to Big Brother. The show still pulled in 4.21 million viewers and managed a 1.0 demo.
ABC had a good night with Jimmy Kimmel Live! followed by the NBC. It managed the highest demo of the night with a 2.1 rating. The audience for the basketball finals pulled in 5.31 million.
