Did The 100’s final season work?

There are a lot of mixed opinions about The 100 Season 7. It does seem like it was originally written without it intended to be the final season. Had there been another season promised, all the planet-hopping at the start of the season may not have been so bad.

Maybe as a binge-watch, all the planet-hopping works better. This is a show that has traditionally worked better as a binge-watch rather than an episode each week because of its more self-contained story.

Did the finale work? There are some questions at the end. It was a little anti-climactic after seven years about survival. But it is what it is. Now it’s time to binge-watch to see whether it all fits together better in one sitting.

There are 100 episodes of the series overall. It is the perfect number to end such a show, even if the story didn’t quite work.
