The American people are rallying against the Chinese immigrants. There’s a movement to send the Chinese “back to where they came from,” which continues to remind us of the racism of the past. Sadly, many parts of the world continue to follow the same ideals—that people should remain in their own countries.

We won’t get into that just now. Instead, let’s focus on the trouble in Chinatown, and San Francisco in general, in Warrior Season 2, Episode 2. Trouble is being brewed and the Chinese gangs are falling for it. They’re fighting against each other, giving more ammo against those who want them out.
As all this happens, Jenny wants help to protect her factory. Could she end up owing something to the wrong people? She’s turning to Ah Sahm for help, but who will he turn to? This could get dangerous.

More drugs, more deceit, more dealings
Warrior Season 2 continues some of the stories with sewn seeds from the premiere. Ah Sahm and Young Jun now have their opium thanks to their new supplier. The problem is they need to find somewhere to hide that, and it’s not like moving product around Chinatown discreetly is all that easy.
They’re not the only one with a drugs problem, but for Lee it’s not about hiding drugs. He’s become more dependent on laudanum, which is going to cause problems in the future. Right now, he’s trying to ignore it as he and Bill investigate the swordsman murders.
Of course, Mai Ling, Sophie, and Ah Toy continue their storylines throughout the episode. There’s a new woman to look out for, Nellie Davenport, who wants to bring an end to Chinese women being exploited. How will she succeed?
