Everything we know about All American Season 3 release date so far

Fall on The CW just doesn’t feel right. All American Season 3 didn’t premiere, but it’s not because the show was canceled.

All American Season 3 is happening, but like so many other shows, it’s been delayed. This was a plan by The CW from the summer, taking the pressure off the fall shows to get back to filming when nothing about the coronavirus pandemic was known.

Now we have a few details about the Season 3 release date, as well as the cast and the storyline. Here’s everything we know so far, and we’ll update as we get more information.

All American Season 3 release date

The CW opted to push all fall programming to January 2021. That includes All American Season 3, which will air on Mondays with Black Lightning.

A set premiere date hasn’t been confirmed just yet. This will come closer to the end of December. production has started on the series. Some shows have had production start and shut down due to positive COVID-19 cases but start back up as soon as they’re able to.

If things go smoothly for the cast and crew, we could see All American Season 3 premiere early January.

The show will likely be 16 episodes again. We’d love for more episodes, but 16 has worked well over the last two seasons, and The CW probably won’t want to change that.

All American Season 3 cast

The majority of the cast is returning for the third season. There’s no need to worry about that.

There is some exciting news for Patience fans. Chelsea Tavares has been upped to series regular for the third season, so we’ll see more of her. We’ve had a little backstory so far, but there’s hope for a lot more—and a lot more character development.

All American Season 3 synopsis

Since production has only just started, there isn’t a synopsis just yet. It’s unlikely there will be a huge time jump, and there’s been no word on a coronavirus storyline (sometimes, we just need entertainment, right?).

What we can expect is the show to pick up where All American Season 2 left us. Spencer’s loyalties have been questioned again, as he considers returning to his former high school. Olivia is struggling with sobriety and Jordan is making some personal changes. Where will we see our characters go?
