Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood has certainly faced more than her fair share of online hate, but that doesn’t mean she’s letting that break her down.

The MTV personality just revealed to fans on Snapchat that she was called nasty names from an unnamed woman. As reported by The Sun, Amber took to social media to share a flattering selfie and video wearing a silk robe.

She stated along with the pics and videos, “I’m going to say this nicely… And yes, I am showing off a little bit of my curves because a woman wanted to call me ‘fat’ and other things.” Amber continued on, acknowledging that it’s cruel for women to tear other women down.

“I don’t believe that as women, we should be talking about our bodies. If you’re skinny, fat, too tall, too short… whatever it may be, this is me,” Amber added. “Love, hate me, whatever you want to do, this is me. Love each other, we’re going through a lot right now.”

Amen to that! We appreciate Amber being so mature in her response, and she’s definitely got a point here. There’s no reason for anyone—woman or not—to be criticizing someone else’s appearance.

Of course, Amber Portwood has many fans on her side, but she’s received internet criticism like this time and time again in the past. She’s very open to the media, for instance when she revealed that she had lost 35 pounds due to stress after her 2019 arrest, along with of course being extremely vulnerable on TV.

This, sadly, has led to her being a target for online bullying, much like her fellow Teen Mom cast mates. Thankfully for Amber, it looks like she’s not letting the hate get to her. She’s fortunately got a great fanbase in her corner, and a few friends and family members there by her side for support.

We’re wishing Amber Portwood nothing but good vibes and body positivity going forward!
