5 best moments from The Outpost Season 3, Episode 2
The top five moments from The Outpost Season 3, Episode 2
The Outpost continues Season 3 with another action-packed episode on The CW. The episode picked up right where we left off after the season premiere, with Garret having just murdered the Blackblood Kezzan for threatening Gwynn’s life.
Unfortunately, Gwynn had just come to an uneasy peace with the Blackblood priestess Yavalla and Garret’s actions threaten that. There are still so many questions around the Blackblood’s presence at Gallwood Outpost while Talon is trying to do her best to keep everyone alive. Thankfully we have all of Season 3 to unravel the mysteries of the Blackbloods and, per Deadline, we will have 13 more episodes to look forward to as well.

Garret dies…again?
Okay, we’re going to have to start keeping a tally of all the times Garret has ‘died’. Lucky for us (and him), Captain Garret Spears seems to have more lives than a cat.
Garret is caught after killing a Blackblood for threatening Gwynn’s life, and he is sentenced to death by drowning. Which is something the Blackbloods apparently fear. Despite Gwynn and Talon’s protestations, they are not able to sway Yavalla’s judgment and Garret is set to be executed.
Thankfully Talon is not about to just let Garret die and she and Janzo come up with a plan. She asks to have a moment to say goodbye to Garret and gives him what is meant to be one final kiss, which I don’t think Zed appreciated. Except with that kiss, Talon was able to give Garret a sleeping death elixir. The elixir was able to convince the Blackbloods that Garret was dead long enough for them to get him away to safety.
Garret revives and after a (deserved) smack from Talon she kisses him, which includes a kiss that was spotted in the Season 3 trailer. They spend the night together and share some sweet moments that I’m sure Garron fans all enjoyed.
As sweet as Garron are, Garret is clearly still suffering from what was done to his mind. Talon even wonders if he wanted to get himself caught and killed and I can’t help but wonder that too. Garret reminds her that the old Garret is gone now, but hopefully Talon can help this new Garret find some peace.
