There are just four episodes left of Supernatural. After a few monster-of-the-week episodes, we’re back to the overall story. It’s time to break down the promo and synopsis for Supernatural Season 15, Episode 17.

This episode introduces a character from the Bible we’ve always wondered about. Meanwhile, Team Free Will is split on what to do to prevent Chuck from destroying the universe. Can they all get back on the same page by the end of the episode?

This shouldn’t be a surprise. Castiel told Dean about Jack’s sacrifice in the hope that Dean would prevent Jack from taking part. Instead, Dean is on board with the idea. Sam isn’t, though.

So, with Jack focused on carrying out what he thinks he needs to do with Dean by his side, Sam and Castiel will search for another way to save him and the world.

Amara is back

A couple of episodes ago, Amara promised Dean that she would think about helping Team Free Will stop Chuck. She doesn’t realize that she’s being pulled into a trap just yet. So, she’s going to arrive at the bunker to offer her help.

Will she learn the truth? With Dean and Jack on the road, it is possible that Sam and Castiel will slip up because they don’t agree with any of this.

We’ll meet Adam

During the promo, Dean and Jack head out on the road. They come across a man who says he’s Adam, the first man of the assembly line.

Is this the real Adam? What does he have to do with Jack’s sacrifice? Is Adam going to help take down God?

Angels falling from grace?

There’s a moment where it looks like a meteor shower. In Supernatural, that means angels are falling out of Heaven. Are they falling from grace because Chuck is kicking them our or because of something Jack has done?

Will the angels team up with Team Free Will to save the universe? Surely that’s something they’ll want to do, right?

The realms of death

Sam opens a book that seems to have a title that involves the realms of death. Billie recently said that she’s not in the next part of the story. Is there another realm of death they’ll all need to go to? Is this a way for Sam and Castiel to prevent Jack from sacrificing himself? Maybe it’s the next thing Jack needs to do.

Either way, there’s a lot of lore, a lot of research, and we’re excited.
