We need Nathan for You now more than ever
By Sandy C.
During these difficult times, it sure would be nice to watch new episodes of Nathan for You
It’s hard to believe that Nathan for You ended on Comedy Central in 2017. It was later confirmed that Nathan Fielder would not be working on another season. But is the awkward satirical reality series truly over for good?
The final episode of Nathan for You was season 4, episode 7, “Finding Frances.” I know what you’re thinking, and we agree, only four seasons? It doesn’t seem fair.
Nathan for You was unlike anything else on television. The unique and incredibly awkward satirical reality series always transported us to a different world. A world where you forgot about your life and everything going on around you and you focused (while cringing at the awkwardness) on Nathan’s latest adventure.
Now, doesn’t that sound like something that would be amazing to do during these days? As if the COVID-19 outbreak hasn’t already done enough damage, the upcoming election is also adding a lot of stress.
Will Nathan for You ever return?
Unfortunately, it’s not in Nathan’s plans to return anytime soon. It truly seems like he is done with the series, which is a real shame. Fans of Nathan can still see him, though, as he is working on a new project.
According to Interview Magazine, Nathan is releasing a new reality comedy on HBO titled How To with John Wilson, he’ll be serving as the show’s executive producer.
That’s not all, the source also shares that Nathan is working with Showtime and the Safdie brothers on The Curse, a comedy that “centers on a fictional HGTV show rattled by a mysterious curse.”
We are excited for both! Anything Nathan Fielder we can get right now, we appreciate it. In the meantime, you can binge-watch Nathan for You on Hulu and awkwardly laugh the pain away.
