Yosef went about the deliver of his message all wrong on The Bachelorette

Despite not even taking part in the strip dodgeball on the previous episode of The Bachelorette, Yosef objected to it. And he was willing to let Clare hear all about it. While his message was right, the delivery of it was all wrong.

Let’s catch up on the events. Spoilers for those who haven’t seen The Bachelorette Season 16, Episode 3 yet.

The episode picked up at the cocktail party before the second rose ceremony. That’s right; nobody went home last week, and we got the rose ceremony this week instead. Yosef would have likely been fine had he not created the drama during the episode.

You see, he decided to tell Clare what he thought of the strip dodgeball. His thoughts echoed a lot of fans’ thoughts about it. The decision was classless. As women, we spend all this time fighting against being objectified and yet it’s okay to objectify men? It’s really not! But this is The Bachelorette, and there are a lot of things that happen that I just find insulting as a woman.

Yosef made his thoughts clear. He wouldn’t want his daughter to see something like that. If he’d left it there, maybe things would have been fine. However, he just had to throw in the “oldest Bachelorette” line. There’s nothing like reminding Clare that she’s almost 40 and still single—and she says it’s because she hasn’t settled for men like Yosef.

The “oldest Bachelorette” line wasn’t the big thing, though, although it did kick Clare off. When she told him that she wouldn’t want him to be the father of her children, Yosef doubled down on the insults.

He called her classless over and over again. And he reminded her again that she’s almost 40 and should know better.

The problem is he (and some viewers) may have forgotten that the Bachelorette producers are the ones that call the shots. They have a say in what happens, especially this year. Clare could say no, but would her objections be listened to? Possibly not.

Also, Yosef had nothing to do with it. Wouldn’t it be up to one of the guys who did take part in the strip dodgeball to say something to her? Maybe Clare would have listened to the complaints a little calmer.

One thing the argument shows is that Yosef and Clare simply aren’t suited for each other. Isn’t that the point of all this? Weed out those that are just terrible matches?

It shouldn’t be surprising to find out that Yosef was the one sent packing on The Bachelorette Season 16, Episode 3.

What’s to come on The Bachelorette

The guys aren’t happy in the house, especially when it comes to the amount of time Clare is spending with Dale. And did everyone hear her refer to him as her fiance? She’s made her choice and she’s just leading the rest of the guys on.

Well, it looks like it’s time for a change. The promo for the next episode shows the worst kept secret in Bachelorette history, Tayshia Adams, is on the way.
