Alaska The Last Frontier sneak peek: Fishing not catching
A Bering Sea Gold friend visits Jane in this Alaska The Last Frontier clip
Alaska The Last Frontier‘s 10th season is here, and we’re getting a bit of a Bering Sea Gold crossover. Emily Riedel visits the Kilchers and she’s going to find out that finding fish can be just as hard as finding gold.
Like the rest of the world, the Kilchers have had to deal with the pandemic. It’s been one hell of a year, but the Kilchers have self-filmed everything so we get to see just how the family has dealt with it.

While it’s certainly been difficult, there has been the chance to see some friends. It’s just what Jane needs, even if she isn’t successful while fishing in this exclusive clip thanks to our friends at Discovery.

During the clip, Jane and Emily kayak out for some fish. They want to supplement their winter stores, but it looks like the fish aren’t playing the game. It doesn’t matter where the two women sit, the fish just aren’t biting.
Jane shares why she doesn’t say she’s “catching fish” at the end of the clip. Instead, she says she’s going fishing. It’s something that many probably haven’t thought about, but she has a really good reason for using the term fishing and not catching when you watch the clip.
We’re into an unprecedented moment on Alaska The Last Frontier. The entire Discovery crew was kicked out, meaning everything had to be self-filmed to keep things going. We get a look inside how everyone deals with the stay-at-home orders, and it’s enough to drive many people to frustration.
Throughout the episode, there are some touchy moments. Atz Senior’s health suffers, Elvin and Eve have to deal with homeschooling, and Atz Lee struggles with his PTSD. You’re not going to want to miss out.
Alaska The Last Frontier airs on Sundays at 8/7c on Discovery.
