A breakdown of the Supernatural Season 15, Episode 18 promo and synopsis

Never ever trust a reaper. That’s something Team Free Will has learned a couple of times, but this time it’s major. It’s time to break down the Supernatural Season 15, Episode 18 promo and synopsis.

Billie has always been one of those questionable characters when it comes to Team Free Will’s intentions. As a reaper, she always just wanted to keep the natural order of things. Fed up with the Winchesters constantly being brought back to life, she wanted to send them to the Empty to stay forever. Now, we’ve found out her plan is to kill Chuck, become God, and put everyone back in their rightful place.

That’s not what everyone else wants. So, it’s time to go up against Death. Let’s take a look at what to expect based on the promo and synopsis for Supernatural Season 15, Episode 18. We’re getting a little teasery for those who think that the promotional material includes spoilers.

By the way, this episode is directed by Richard Speight Jr. It’s the last time our Trickster/Gabriel will direct a Supernatural episode.

"With the plan in full motion, Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles), Castiel (Misha Collins) and Jack (Alexander Calvert) fight for the good of the common goal."

There isn’t much to go on is there? Let’s get to it!

1. The Winchesters want to kill Billie

More from Supernatural

Now that the Winchesters know Billie’s true plan, they need to take her down. Dean may have been willing to sacrifice everything for Chuck, but Sam isn’t, and he’s talked Dean around.

Honestly, I do have to question whether it’s Dean or whether it’s meant to be Chuck writing the story. Does Chuck want Dean to look like the bad guy to end the tale since all worlds end with one Winchester killing the other? That’s for another article though.

Let’s focus on the Supernatural Season 15, Episode 18 promo and synopsis. The Winchesters are ready to take the fight to Billie. They know how to kill Death, but they’ll need to get the scythe. Can they manage it?

2. Billie wants to kill the Winchesters

This is nothing new. The only reason Billie hasn’t reaped them yet is because they were in God’s death book. She thinks they’re important.

Plans are changing. She’s back on the warpath for them.

3. Bobby, Donna, and more are back

Apocalypse Bobby, Apocalypse Charlie, Donna, and a few others are all spotted in the promo. It makes sense to pull them all in. Not only are they friends, but this affects them too. If Death wins, then they all go back to worlds that no longer exist. So, they will want to help out. It’s probably the last time we’ll see these characters, whether they live or die.

4. Protecting the bunker

Sam is putting a protection spell on the bunker. There’s a flash of light and a lot of symbols show up. This is protecting it from absolutely everything, but is it enough to stop Billie.

And it’s not like Billie is the only problem. An extra powerful God is out there somewhere now that Amara has merged with him.

5. Jack may survive

The end of Supernatural Season 15, Episode 17 made us question Jack’s fate. Is the show going to kill him off without him carrying out his full purpose? With Adam’s rib, Jack’s grace and soul have fused and he’s a ticking time bomb.

Billie turns up in the promo. It looks like she’s going to reap him, but will she reverse everything that’s happened? After all, Jack’s sacrifice isn’t going to kill God now. So, is there any point?

This is the woman who wants to revert everything back to normal, though. Jack died at the end of Supernatural Season 14. So, he should be in the Empty, right? She’ll likely want to send him back there, but the synopsis includes Jack’s name so there’s a little bit of hope.
