Briana DeJesus reveals how seeing Kailyn Lowry at the Teen Mom 2 reunion filming went

Drama, drama, drama. The Teen Mom 2 season 10 reunion filming finally took place on Thursday, October 29. With the ongoing need for social distance, the highly-anticipated sit-down happened virtually, of course. But even from a safe distance, you could cut some of that long-lasting cast mate tension with a knife.

When it came to the dicey dynamic between Briana DeJesus and Kailyn Lowry, most of us saw the drama coming from a million miles away. Even though there was no way to be sure exactly how things would go, we sensed it probably wouldn’t go well for these two.

Reportedly, their interaction got a little dramatic once again, to say the least.

According to HollywoodLife, Briana DeJesus pulled no punches while taking her public opportunity to shade Lowry during the reunion. She called her co-star out on everything from her “cold” and “immature” behavior during the taping, to Lowry’s recent arrest.

As the publication notes, the two haven’t shared a space like this with each other since the 2018 reunion filming. In case you missed that one, things didn’t go well that time either. The result of their ongoing tension led to a now-infamous fight between the MTV reality stars.

Not to mention, the 2018 reunion closely followed behind Briana’s brief relationship with Kailyn’s ex-husband, Javi Marroquin. Flash forward to 2020, and they’re still not fans of each other. Clearly. And maybe not everyone is over what happened back then.

When discussing how the 2020 reunion filming went, Briana told Celebuzz, “This was obviously the first time Kail and I had appeared on camera together since our infamous ‘reunion fight’- which, by the way, occurred YEARS ago and (to me, at least) is LONG in the past.” She also said the whole thing was notably “awkward.”

So if the past is in the past, where is all this animosity and awkwardness coming from? Briana revealed she suspected that Kailyn still holds a grudge about the way things went down in 2018 and with her ex, even though DeJesus herself claimed to be “over the drama from years past.”

Sort of surprisingly, the reality star went on to say that she told Kailyn that it “wasn’t that serious,” she was “happy” to see her at the reunion, and said that she even “wished her nothing but the best going forward.”

However, Briana alleged that Kailyn “still refused to comment and didn’t say anything” even after her attempt to make amends. Briana summed up her take on their most recent interaction by claiming she kept it “classy,” while Kailyn “kept it exactly what would be expected. She’s immature and shows no growth. It’s sad.”
