Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry talks about what she’s not looking for in a date

Kailyn Lowry sat down with Lindsie Chrisley to talk about her personal life during a recent episode of their podcast Coffee Convos, and that includes chatting about her kids and her dating life. The Teen Mom 2 star revealed that she struggles with dating for a variety of reasons.

Lowry revealed that she’s interested in trying casual dating “just to see what it’s like,” but she’s concerned that her status as a TV star might interfere with any plans to date. “I feel like I couldn’t do a dating app just because I’m on TV. I feel like people would seek me out.” While that could be true, it’s interesting that she’s limiting her options because these days dating apps are safer than meeting up with random people.

One thing she does know is that she’s not interested in dating men with kids because, as she puts it, “I don’t have anything in common with any man. I’m not gonna date someone who has kids. I’m just not gonna do it. Like, I will not.”

Lowry has four kids with three men, and in a November 3 podcast with Vee Rivera she expressed frustration about having to pay for six attorneys in her ongoing fights with the baby daddies. “I am done paying for attorneys,” she said. “I have six attorneys. When I told you I’m done paying f-ing all of them, unless it’s related to my f-ing business, I am done. I’m done!”

There’s no question that Lowry is vocal about her life, her life choices and her visibility being on television. Her comments about not dating men with children will no doubt draw ire in a pot-meet-kettle way, but that’s entirely in keeping with her “brand.” They don’t talk about you if you’re not being controversial or making headlines, so here it is.
