Kailyn Lowry reveals she considered abortion with baby number 4

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry is getting real on her inner struggle once she found out she was pregnant with baby number four.

The Pennsylvania native is mom to Isaac, 10, Lincoln, six, Lux, three, and now Creed, who was born in July of this year. Although she’s always talked about expanding her ever-growing family, she was hesitant to do so earlier this year.

While speaking to the cameras in the most recent episode of Teen Mom 2, according to People, Kail discussed her reaction to finding out she was expecting again. Initially, she decided against telling her three boys that she would be having another baby, as she wasn’t sure the choice she was going to make.

Kailyn told cameras:

"I still don’t believe that I’m pregnant. I did consider abortion. I went to my abortion appointment but I had the ultrasound. I was just like, ‘I need to see the ultrasound to see if I connect with this baby.’"

Apparently, seeing her little one in the ultrasound completely changed Kail’s mind. “At that point, I just decided that abortion wasn’t for me,” she explained.

Kailyn Lowry also explained how getting support from her exes and baby daddies Jo Rivera and Javi Marroquin was a huge relief. “I think once I told Jo and Javi it was a huge weight off my shoulders,” she stated.

Teen Mom fans might remember that it was reported early this year that Kailyn would be discussing getting an abortion on the TV show. At the time, sources believed that the MTV star was waiting to confirm the swirling rumors about her pregnancy until she knew for sure she was going to keep the baby.

Buzz about Kailyn Lowry potentially being pregnant began in January 2020, and it wasn’t until February 4 that the reality star took to Instagram to share the exciting news. While it might not seem like that long of a time in between, Kail is known to often weigh in on rumors on social media, so it was very unlike her to remain quiet at the time.

Whatever one’s stance on abortion is, we’re glad that Kailyn feels she made the right choice by keeping her baby. Creed is an adorable little boy and we’re excited to see how he grows up.
