If you grew up watching British TV, chances are you were into EastEnders at one part of your life (or you still are!). The drama series debuted on BBC One all the way back in 1985, and originally featured actors Adam Woodyatt, June Brown, Letitia Dean, Wendy Richard, and more talented stars, many of which are still on the show today.

Fast forward to 1996, and heartthrob Paul Nicholls hit the EastEnders scene. Quickly, he became a popular face on the show, appearing on it for nearly two years. Fans will remember he played the character Joe.

Post-EastEnders, Nicholls has kept a rather low profile. He’s appeared in various movies and TV shows since he left the series, however you won’t see him in paparazzi photos often.

His last talk show appearance was back in 2017 on Loose Women, where he looked happy and healthy. And now, he’s just made a rare public appearance while out shopping at Primrose Hill in London this past weekend. Spoiler alert: He looks super handsome still!

You can see shots of how Nicholls is looking nowadays below.

As reported by the Mirror, Paul Nicholls stepped out to run errands on Sunday, looking in high spirits. Fans might remember that the actor dealt with depression, alcoholism, and drug abuse back in the 1990s, however he looks great and very healthy nowadays.

We’re very glad the former EastEnders star was able to deal with his struggles and has continued his acting career. His most recent role came in 2017, playing character Steve Bell on the show Ackley Bridge, a part he played until 2018.

Looks like Paul Nicholls is thriving as of late, and we love to see it!
