Teen Mom 2 drama continues as Jenelle Evans weighs in on Chelsea Houska

In the latest edition of pot and kettle, ex Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans offers her opinion on the departure of her former cast mate Chelsea Houska (now Chelsea DeBoer).

Fame is a hard pill to swallow for many adults, so thrusting pregnant teens into a reality show and expecting them to handle it well was always a problem. It worked out for some, but not for others. Houska and Evans were never friends, and as Houska – who is pregnant with her fourth child – leaves the show, Evans weighed in during an interview with E! News.

“Good for her. I feel her story wasn’t honest to begin with so maybe TV isn’t meant for her,” she told E! News.

Pot, meet kettle.

Let’s be brutally honest here. Evans is the epitome of why people who live in glass houses shouldn’t cast stones.

Evans has been mired in controversy thanks to her husband David Eason, who killed the family dog after it bit one of their children. After her tearful social media post lamenting her loss, there was outrage over the act (which only got more heated when video of how the kids interacted with the poor pup who, sadly, never had a chance in that household), but then she defended Eason’s actions and caused even more outrage.

Since then there have been restraining orders, reconciliations and more drama, and for now the couple is still together and living through the COVID-19 pandemic together.

Evans is not exactly the queen of good decisions here so her cutting remarks toward Houska have very little weight in this muddled world of Teen Mom 2. At least Houska is leaving the show on a high note, and hopefully she’ll leave the drama in the past.
