Carol Vorderman and her daughter release new content for online school
UK star Carol Vorderman is a television legend at this point, best known for hosting the show Countdown from 1982 to 2008. She’s also hosted popular programs such as Loose Women, Lorraine, and more.
The 59-year-old Bedford native has also found herself a career in journalism, and has appeared in commercials. Whether you know her from one show or another, chances are you’ve heard of the popular presenter.
One of Carol Vorderman’s most recent ventures is actually all about schooling. Since the COVID-19 pandemic forced schools to shut down and begin doing virtual learning, the TV personality decided she would help and get involved.
Carol announced her online schooling program back in March, as reported by Good Housekeeping, with a statement released on her site reading:
"Following the Government’s decision to implement widespread school closures across the UK to minimise the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) we will be making The Maths Factor FREE for everyone (usually about £2 per week) to support children’s continued learning at home for the duration of the UK schools closure period. We want to help you and your child as much as we can."
As reported by the Daily Mail, Carol and her daughter Katie King, whose father is Carol’s ex-husband Patrick King, recently posed together on social media to promote a new release of content for their online math program.
The duo stand side by side in the photo in front of a screen which reads “The Maths Factor.” In Carol’s tweet, she shared that she and Katie would be teaching math for Year 7 students.

Of course, people are very happy to see Carol and Katie continue to get involved in helping children with their online learning. And on top of that, many were quick to respond to the tweet by saying how alike the mother and daughter look. Carol received many replies saying that the pair looked like sisters.
We don’t disagree!
