When are new episodes of Euphoria coming out?

Can’t get enough of HBO’s Euphoria? Can’t say I blame you! Luckily, the show will eventually go on with more episodes. The real question is, when? A second season has been confirmed for a while now, but when can we expect the show to return to our screens?

According to Teen Vogue, the popular HBO series will finally be returning with two special episodes ahead of season 2.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent need for continued social distance, production for the highly-anticipated second season was postponed. Fortunately, the cast and crew couldn’t wait to give us new content, and we’ll be getting two in-between-season episodes. Yay!

As Teen Vogue reports, series creator Sam Levinson said they took the proper precautions when filming Euphoria amid the pandemic. For starters, the two new episodes were shot with a temporarily smaller cast. With that said, new content is ready to go, and very soon they’ll be streamable.

When is Euphoria coming back?

On Instagram, star Zendaya shared a teaser for the new episodes with the caption, “We really missed them. Two special Euphoria episodes coming soon. First one December 6th on @hbo.”

So while we don’t have a release date for season 2 yet, we know right now that the first of two special episodes will debut December 8 on HBO.

The general response from fans, friends, and fellow celebs has been “can’t wait!” After the season 1 cliffhangers, it’s safe to assume that everyone wanting new episodes of Euphoria are more ready than ever.

According to Deadline, the first of the two new episodes will follow Rue over Christmas. Just in time for the holidays, right? The episode is titled “Trouble Don’t Last Always.” Interesting.

As noted by Teen Vogue, audiences can expect to meet four new cast members in season 2. For now, what happens next for the beloved characters remains a mystery.

Luckily, the wait is almost over and all will soon start to be revealed with HBO’s two new episodes of Euphoria next month. We’ll keep you updated when we hear more information about the second upcoming episode.
