What’s going on with Meredith on Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 3?

The two-hour Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 premiere was certainly intense. Now it’s time to find out what’s going on with Meredith. You’re not going to want to miss Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 3 tonight.

There’s only the one episode of the medical drama tonight. A Million Little Things Season 3 will follow with its premiere. While it is disappointing for those who want more from Grey Sloan Memorial, just know that there’s still plenty to come in the following weeks.

More from ABC

Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 3 will pick up with where the two-hour premiere left us. Meredith was found unconscious in the parking lot, and we got to see that in her head, she’s on a beach with Derek Shepherd.

Yes, there are a lot of questions. The biggest is what’s wrong with her. We see her getting an MRI scan, but it doesn’t look like it’s on her head. It looks to be on her chest, which could suggest that she’s suffering from serious complications with COVID. And that wouldn’t be surprising considering she’s spent so long in the COVID ICU. Doctors and nurses did catch the disease while working in hospitals in real life, and the show is possibly offering that insight.

What about the other doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial?

It’s not all about Meredith, either. The synopsis tells us that the doctors will deal with a familiar and difficult patient. That possibly is Meredith—doctors make the worst patients—but it could be someone else.

Then there’s Koracick who is now in charge of the interns. He’s been demoted after everything that happened with Teddy, with Webber taking over as Chief of Chiefs. Koracick isn’t happy, but he’s going to have to make the most of the situation he’s found himself in.

Link will operate on a sex therapist. The synopsis doesn’t tell us much more than that, but it’s good to see him back at work. I’m looking forward to seeing him and Amelia juggling work and parenting.

And then there’s Maggie, who is currently FaceTiming Winston a lot. They’re both getting to know each other more and making the most of the COVID situation. Will Winston eventually move to Seattle to be with her permanently?

Check out the promo and synopsis for Grey’s Anatomy Season 17, Episode 3:

"The doctors continue to face their new COVID-19 reality and deal with a familiar and stubborn patient; Koracick is put in charge of the interns; Link operates on a sex therapist; Maggie finds comfort in Winston’s virtual presence."
