The Season 3 premiere of A Million Little Things left us with an all-new mystery

Caution: Spoilers for A Million Little Things Season 3 premiere

A Million Little Things Season 3 premiered with answers to our most burning question. We found out whether Eddie did or didn’t survive.

More from ABC

Good news, he survived. Bad news, he’s paralyzed from the waist down with a 10% chance of walking again. It’s going to be a long road to recovery from this point, but with his friends by his side, we have hope.

The ending to the premiere was beautiful, giving Katherine and Eddie a chance to renew their vows after all. However, they weren’t just with their friends.

Across the road was a man in a red truck. And it looked like the same red truck that ran into him on that fateful night.

Somebody wants Eddie dead, but how?

It’s all about Alex on A Million Little Things

We need to go back to the Season 2 finale of A Million Little Things for a few answers. The man in the truck is Reverend Stewart, also known as Alex’s father.

Oh yes, this is all going to be about Alex, and as a parent, I can sort of understand this anger. I have no idea how I’d react if one of my children drowned. I’d definitely have no idea how I’d react if there was someone who was drunk with them when they drowned. Would I blame the drunk person for my child’s death?

Possibly.

And that’s where it seems we’re going with A Million Little Things Season 3.

During the Season 2 finale, Reverend Stewart told Eddie to leave the lake. Eddie had “already done enough,” according to Alex’s dad, but it seems like Eddie’s return sparked some anger and resentment.

Now that Stewart knows Eddie is still alive and is happy with his family, will Stewart return? Or is paralyzing Eddie enough? I guess we’ll have to wait a couple of weeks just to get a few answers.

A Million Little Things won’t air next week due to Thanksgiving. An all-new episode airs on Dec. 3.
