Who is returning to Saved by the Bell for the reboot?

We’re going back to Bayside! On November 25, the oh-so-buzzed about Saved by the Bell reboot will finally be streamable on Peacock, just in time for Thanksgiving.
Fans who watched the series the first time around know one thing for sure–this beloved sitcom which ran from 1989 to 1992 was not, is not, and could not be complete without some of its most famous stars.
Luckily, most of the original cast, who made the teen TV sensation so famous in the first place, are coming back to the Bayside High halls where it all began. Now that’s something to be thankful for.
According to the Washington Post, the Saved by the Bell reboot has another major thing going for it. Along with some very familiar faces, it’s been reviewed as “really good.” In the words of Jessie Spano, “I’m so excited!”
Which original Saved by the Bell actors are in the reboot?
For the reboot, the whole gang’s almost back. As reported by Glamour, we can expect to see Lark Voorhies reprising her role as Lisa Turtle, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren back as Jessie Spano, and Mario Lopez returning as A.C. Slater.
Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen) and the one and only Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) are both back at Bayside as well. Notably absent from the star-studded roll call? Screech Powers, played by Dustin Diamond.
What is the Saved by the Bell reboot about?
As reported by Deadline, the reboot follows California governor Zack Morris. Yes, you heard me correctly. According to the publication, Governor Zack “gets into trouble for the state’s many underfunded high schools and proposes they send affected students to California’s highest-performing schools,” and “the influx of new students gives the overprivileged Bayside kids a much-needed dose of reality.”
