Sabrina is just one of five must-see shows on Netflix in December 2020
There is plenty to check out on Netflix in December, but the last can be overwhelming. That’s why we pick out the must-see shows on Netflix throughout the month.
There is something for everyone. From the final part of a top fantasy series to a documentary on one of England’s most infamous killers, you’ll find something you feel you need to watch.
Not sure what’s coming from the big list of arrivals on Netflix in December 2020? Here are the five must-see shows on Netflix during the month.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 4
We start with the big release at the end of the month. New Year’s Eve is about to get witchy with the release of the fourth part of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Whether you like it or not (we don’t), this is the final part. It’s time to see how the story comes to an end.
The episodes are available on Dec. 31.
Selena: The Series
Fans of Selena Quintanilla will need to check out this series. If you’ve never heard of the Queen of Tejano, then now is a good time to learn. Selena: The Series follows the tragic life and death of the 23-year-old singing superstar. She was tragically killed by someone who used to work for her, but this series isn’t about her death. It’s a way to celebrate her life and tell her story.
You can watch on Dec. 4.
Bridgerton
For those who adore period dramas, Christmas Day has a treat for you. Bridgerton is finally released. Set in England during the Regency period, eight close-knit siblings attempt to find love. Of course, they want love but their parents also expect the right matches. Fans of Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, and similar works will find this one of the must-see shows on Netflix in December 2020.
Watch the series on Dec. 25
Tiny Pretty Things
Based on the novel of the same name by Dhonielle Clayton and Sona Charaipotra, Tiny Pretty Things brings us a mystery in the middle of an elite ballet school. It’s described as Pretty Little Liars meets Black Swan, and you can probably throw a little bit of Elite in there. This is perfect for fans of teen mysteries.
Watch the series on Dec. 14.
The Ripper
Finally, it’s all about the true crime documentary. The Ripper isn’t about Jack the Ripper but about the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe. During the 1970s and into the 1980s, he terrorized the people of West Yorkshire until he was finally caught. This is the story about his victims, about his actions, and about his time in jail.
What it won’t include is his death. That happened just recently after the series was filmed. However, there will likely be a card at the end to explain what happened.
The Ripper is out on Dec. 16.
